Local Food Entrepreneur Meet-Up

Community experts are joining together—for you (and local food).

For one evening, aspiring and existing food entrepreneurs are invited to join together and share resources, discuss needs and celebrate strengths associated with local food entrepreneurship. Join us! Get to know your peers and use your voice to celebrate the local food movement happening in Summit County.

We hope this session will help provide direction for a series of future educational programming and networking events specific to the food entrepreneurship in the region.

While this event is free to attend, registration is requested so we can determine the amount of (local!) food + drinks to purchase. We look forward to spending time with you!

This event is made possible by The Summit Food Coalition, Countryside, Akron Entrepreneurs and The Well Community Development Corporation, in partnership with The City of Akron.

RSVP here.

Copley Creekside Farmers Market

The Copley Creekside Farmers Market began in 2012 as a way to bring the community together each week in the heart of the township while honoring the area’s rural heritage. Copley is a historically rural farming community and local business leaders felt it was time to embrace that fact.

Now entering its seventh season in 2018, the market continues to give friends and neighbors the opportunity to shop together in the fresh air for local produce and homemade goods. It’s an open and flexible market, allowing vendors to join at any time and for as many weeks as fits their schedule. This means Copley is able to offer a market with an irresistible mix of the new and unexpected next to the classic and weekly favorites.
