Celebrate Earth Day 2017 with a family-friendly, earth-friendly trail race or 1-mile Fun Run. Children are welcome, and there will be prizes, snacks and “goodies” to enjoy as we celebrate and enjoy the beauty of our surroundings.
The timed race will take place on the grounds of Crown Point Ecology Center, a working organic farm with woods, meadows, wetlands and 5 ½ miles of hiking trails – a perfect place for a run!
The centerpiece of the property is a big, red Century Barn. This is a magnificent 115-acre property — the highest point in Bath and the largest privately-owned undeveloped property in Bath. It is also an historic property – the core of pioneer settler Jason Hammond’s acreage. Hammond and his brother-in-law Jonathan Hale arrived in Bath in 1810 and are credited with founding the township in 1818.
5K registration is $20 per participant 12 years and older
Fun Run Entry for 12 years and over is $10
Children's race entry for 12 years and under, 5k or 1 mile is $2
